Meet our Counselors

Michael Warner MS.Ed, LCPC, CADC
Michael is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counsleor with a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology from EIU. His treatment experience since 1990 with children, adolescents, adults and families spans programs for drug and alcohol abuse, adolescent social anxiety, couples counseling, anger management, depression, criminal justice, and families of divorce. He has worked in and supervised programs for inpatient and outpatient settings ranging from early intervention to long-term residential placement. In addition to private practice, Michael is currently CEO of Webster Cantrell Youth Advocacy in Decatur. He is committed to helping adults, youth, and their families with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, decision-making, and reducing negative peer pressure.

Ariel Warner M.A., LPC
Ariel is a Licensed Professional Counsleor with a Master's Degree in Human Development Counseling with a Clinical Mental Health concentration from UIS. Along with her work at New Leaf, she also currently works at Keri Powell Therapy in Champaign, IL and has previously worked in both university and community mental health settings. During this time she has worked mainly with children, adolescents, and young adults dealing with difficulties with anxiety, depression, trauma experiences, ADHD symptoms, family systems, self-esteem, and relationships. Ariel has also previously worked for Providing Access to Help in Bloomington, IL as a social service and National Suicide Prevention Lifeline call center operator. She is commited to helping young adults, youth, and their families with depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, self-esteem, and realtionship difficulties.
